CURRENT PRINT SUBSCRIBERS
to the print edition will need your Ketchikan Daily News ID number to acquire a free online subscription. You also will need to have your telephone number registered in the Daily News office. Your subscriber ID number is found on your renewal notice. It is the first four (4) digits in the upper left-hand corner of the address label on the notice (see example below). You may contact the Daily News to obtain the number and to verify that we have your correct phone number. We must have both numbers on file for print subscribers to gain free access. Ignore the "Daily News Staff Only Subscriber Number." After the phone number and ID numbers are entered, proceed to and select "Submit," located below the Subscriber agreement. A password will be e-mailed shortly after you register to the address you entered. Use that password to access your account. You will get the opportunity to change your password if you want to. Just fill in the boxes (or don’t) and then select “Submit” again at the bottom of the Subscriber agreement.
Then you should be able to log in and access the Daily News site.
